I really like your project. You picked a really needed task and executed the solution well: navigation is more user-friendly, the tone is modern and fresh, information is presented to minimize cognitive load, and you utilized technology (roll-overs, menus, iframes, etc) to present your information in a more intuitive way.
My only comment, as we discussed in class, is for the site to have more of a “home.” Blindly visiting the site, I wouldn’t know if this were part of a school’s library or an independent site. I know – I wouldn’t want to make it purple and gray – but perhaps a logo would help give the site a greater purpose.
I think that the site is looking really good and that the layout is set out pretty nicely. The only thing that I found in looking around at your pages is that some of them don’t seem completely done. I don’t know if they are supposed to be that way or if they are just links to pages that aren’t part of your final. I also agree with Julie about the main page maybe standing out a little more just so that the viewer can identify what the purpose of the website is. Other than that it’s great! I also really like the layout and design of this blog.
